Permanent photo galleries

A photo gallery exhibiting life and time of Sir Asutosh Mookerjee was formally opened for public viewing on the 134^th birth anniversary of Sir Asutosh on 29/06/1997. A photo gallery on Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee was started in his birth centenary year (2001). The work is still going on with a plan to publish his pictorial biography.  There is another small collection displaying more than hundred photographs on the Himalaya journeys taken over the years by the great traveler-scholar Sree Uma Prasad Mookerjee. Also there are busts , head study, portrait paintings of Sir Asutosh, Lady Jagomaya Devi , Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee and others in possession of the Institute.
