Research, documentation and publication Unit 

This unit works continuously on restoration, preservation, collection, compilation and publication of documents, manuscripts, photographs, paintings, portraits, sculptures and other original materials in possession of the Institute. The unit closely co-operates and interacts with Ashutosh Mukhopadhya  Collection, National Library, Asiatic society, Calcutta and Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, New Delhi, where a huge number of original and printed papers, documents, news paper clippings, letters and correspondences were donated by the family for proper preservation and use of researchers. It also co-operates with other organizations like Calcutta University, Ashutosh College etc.
